Embarkation Procedures

Embarkation commences 3 hours before the specified cruise departure time. You should have your Passport/ID Card and Cruise Ticket ready for presentation. For security purposes, Louis Hellenic Cruises staff will collect and hold your Passport for the duration of your cruise. You will be issued with your own personal embarkation card which acts as your onboard passport.

Gratuities

For your convenience, and as is practice on most ships, your shipboard account will be debited with the customary gratuities for services rendered onboard – generally 8 Euros per person per day.

Personal Expenses

Currency onboard is the Euro.. Louis Hellenic vessels operate a cashless system, for your convenience. Your personal embarkation card allows you to charge almost everything, including shore excursions and gift shop purchases (excluding Casino transactions) to your shipboard account. We also accept Mastercard, American Express and Visa.

Valuables

Safety boxes for your personal and valuable items are provided in your cabin.

Luggage

Your luggage will be delivered outside your cabin within 2 hours of embarkation.

Dining Room

Upon embarkation, the Maitre d’ Hotel will take your dining room reservation and assign your table. You may have a choice, depending on availability, of Main or Late sitting.

Electrical Appliances

The electric currency available onboard our vessels varies between 110v AC and 220v AC. We recommend that you pack a universal transformer as sockets often vary from your standard sockets at home.
